This is the memorial video I made for Tyler Genneken, who died last night. See video for details.

Today at grief counseling, I went in to call my brother (I had to hear his voice, so I called him at 8 in the morning and mustered out a sad "Hi, Benny....") and I saw Tyler's guy friends all holding each other, sobbing. I was awestruck, and I fell in love with each of the sad hearts in that room. I walked over and hugged one of them and told them that death wasn't the end, and before I knew it ALL of the boys were huddled around me, taking turns squeezing me for dear life (I literally could hardly breathe) and sobbing into my hair.
I loved the feeling of being of at least a little comfort to them...

Anyhoo, Rest in Peace, Tyler. We all love you.


You won't be seeing much of me lately; I'm going on a retreat this weekend with my church and I have to go study for my social studies test tomorrow. So I'll see you all later.
Please keep Tyler's friends and relations in your prayers.
